Have you ever wondered if we're missing it?

Chris Tomlin, a songwriter and worship leader of Passion Conference says, “’Crazy Love’ is the perfect title for this book.” When Jesus was asked, “What is the greatest commandment?” He responded with “love”. “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it. Love your neighbor as yourself.” (Matt. 22:37-40) As the author so brilliantly illustrates, the life that Jesus calls us to is absolute craziness to the world. Sure, it’s fine and politically correct to believe in God, but to really LOVE him is a whole different story. Yeah, it’s nice and generous to give to the needy at Christmas or after some disaster, but to sacrifice your own comfort and welfare for another may look like madness to a safe and undisturbed world.

Please join us on Thursdays at 6:30 PM starting February 25th for a great experience of studying God’s Word and the book “Crazy Love”. Please call the church office or put a note on the We Care cards to register. We want to have enough books available for everyone.

“INTERCESSARY PRAYER”
YOUR PRAYERS ARE POWERFUL

Intercessory Prayer Book Cover

If God is all powerful, why does He need us to pray?
If we pray and nothing happens, does this mean God isn't listening?
If you've ever felt that your prayers don't count, INTERCESSARY PRAYER
will show you just how vital your prayers are.

Pastor and teacher Dutch Sheets explains the nuts & bolts of prayer, with wisdom, gentleness and humor. This book will inspire you, give you the courage to pray for the "impossible” and help you find the persistence to see your prayers to completion. Discover your role as a prayer warrior, it can mean the difference between heaven & hell for someone you know!

This weekly study will be held Tuesday evenings at 6:30 PM, beginning February 23, and held in room 102 of the Schneider Education Center. Call the office to register.
